I've started baiting J0hn B Guy, when I see a message in my baiting account junk box (note to self to disable this). It is someone warning me that J0hn is a scammer in the subject, with no other text. So I ask, could this be the same guy just seeing how gullible I am, or another lad hacking his account and trying to kill off the competition? |

Who was it from? Sometimes mugus mess up and use the cc instead of the bcc when sending messages to baiters, who in turn have been known to send warning messages to potential 'real' victims. |

If you post the full headers here for mails from the scammer and the warner, we can tell you if they are on the same continent or indeed the same PC.
We usually beg people to reply to warners and tell them you're baiting. But in this case this is not a regular warner; it's almost certainly a baiter or a concerned citizen who received a CC list. In this particular case it is probably best to ignore the first mail. If they send another then you need to work out what is going on. (Nothing worries a warner more than a victim who replies "thanks for the warning" and then continues with the scam.) |
