I have just joined this wonderful web site and cant wait to have some fun with these bad people
My question is how can I make sure I dont answer one of the emails and step on someone elses patch
I dont want to spoil it for another member who is playing a scammer

You don't need to worry about that particularly, Catherine. Lads can sometimes be being baited by baiters at several baiting sites at once, not to mention the folks that bait on their own and don't even know that organized baiting exists.
The only caveat to that would be a keeeeeep off!!- you will occasionally see that on the forums. This is a request to leave a particular lad or website alone, usually a baiter is cooperating with LEO's for an arrest or there is more to a fake site than immediately meets the eye.
In the case of a keep off you would step on somebody's toes by messing with the lad. |

I have one on the go at the moment before I joined
He asked me to come over to Ghana
I told him it was very nice for him to invite me
I asked if his attoney was going to send the ticket ?
I also said it might be better if he sent the money over here to London as I could buy the ticket a lot cheaper
I was going to give him a fake address
Should I not have ask for money ? Is that wrong ? Is that considered bad form ? |

Welcome aboard.
When it comes to the Lads, never worry about stepping on their toes..Smash them whenever possible.
Here's a helpful hint--I always like to mention to the rascals that I have a sister/brother--by name, but just casually. It proves most utile when I 'die' and the lad must be notified---[and often left an inheritance]. This is nothing new to vet baiters, and it works. The Lads understand the concept of someone dying and leaving money, so it's always great to turn the tables on them when I contact them as the bereaved sibling etc. |

Unless you get on a shuttle or bait one of the lads email addresses posted here, the odds are very good you won't be able to step on anyone's toes. There are just way too many lads out there. You will occasionally get a lad that drops you when you go off script and generally that's a lad that has been burned a few times previously. In my opinion that's a good thing since any vic that goes off script with get the same treatment. |

Hey Catherine - stepping on other baiters toes is known as team baiting and it`s a way to make new firiends and share your favourite Lad. Sort of social networking through your scammer. Make new friends and share ideas. 
A Lad has so many uses - we are still finding ways to make optimum use of them. Taxidermy anyone ?  |
