Question, has anyboby visited the Cots Walds? Did I spell that right?

It's the area around Cheltenham and Gloucester. I studied at UCE, at both campus' and had a fairly good tour of the area.. It's one of the nicer clumps of countryside in Britain - spoiled not by the quaint rural villages and sandstone buildings, which punctuate it; but rather by the high density of chavs and twats, which populate them.

If you can work your way round the wine bars in Cheltenham without bumping into one of them, you will have a lovely time.

^^^ UCE is in Birmingham, I'm not saying you never went ot the Cotswolds, but the Cotswolds is very nice, and I haven't seen that many chavs or twats there. Plenty in Birmingham though.

I used to live on the edge of the Cotswolds - nice place, some areas a bit touristy. France is nicer Very Happy

The Cotswolds are beautiful if a bit touristy (im lucky enough to live 30 odd miles from them) i'd heartily recommend a trip to Broadway.

I was posted just to the east of them about 15 years ago at Brize Norton. Lots of tourist in the summer. Roads could be a nightmare to drive in the winter. The fishing was good. Too many sheep.
