No friggin way! I just read this poster child for classic scam baits last week and I, too, am totally psyched to get AL back on the road, er hook!! Dancing Banana

Some ideas for places where someone like Sue might spend time during the Spring of the year include Palm Springs, CA (at a spa she learned about while in San Diego last Summer), Easter at home with her family (in a gated community on a privately-owned island with its own police force), and/or Spring skiing and taking in a festival someplace like Vail or Aspen, CO, or Banf, Alberta (where anyone who isn't uber wealthy would stick out like a sore maga). She could also be a New Age person who spends time with her spiritual counselor/guide in Sedona, AZ or Taos, NM.

All of these places, in addition to being expensive, are a fair distance from the nearest major airport.

The IP seems to match, but it sure sounds like someone else to me, too. Maybe AL had to bring in a roommate due to being a little, shall we say, short on funds Very Happy

Maybe it is some kind of deal where they rotate Lads in / out from time to time?

Whatever this is, it does sound promising for you guys (JF / Capone) to hopefully start working on a pith helmet... and inflicting yet another massive dose of Lad Pain on all those greedy but oh-so-ready to help the wealthy Sue FINALLY get what's hers.

He may be completely unaware of the various safari's your lads endured. I think this is a wash and repeat safari lad! That happened with "Dr. Ray" in my sig line. He mimicked the email address of a previously safari'd lad, and I parcel directed him from Lagos to Cotonou. Sounds to me like if Sue behaves true to character, well, you are going to be sharing a lot of lad misery with us, right here!

Okay, so I'm semi-necroing my own thread here but today brought an interesting turn. After 6 weeks of silence, both Atlanta lad and Lagos lad have reappeared on the same day, several hours apart.
