My primary email must have really good spam filters, as I rely on the SL every single time I want to start a new bait. Please don't give up posting there, your efforts are appreciated.

Well maybe I'm boring or lazy but I get all my lads from Surplus Letters and have never had any problem. There's such a vast selection to pick from it would be a shame if we lost the resource.

SP and Leccy are right on.
1. The letters posted in Surplus mostly come from baiters' catcher accounts, which means that many baiters (both here and elsewhere) will have received them and may be baiting them, whether they post about it here or not.

2. The Surplus Letters forum is open to search engines, making it invaluable to the potential victim who Googles the sender, company, or part of the text.

Remember that there are many other sites out there that "name and shame" scammers by posting their email addresses and formats for Google to pick up (Scam Patrol, Joe Wein, and Urgentmessage leap to mind here). When you kill random, non phone lad accounts, the lad gets a "clean slate" on Google until his new address has been posted on one of these sites as a scammer.
