IT was during the second World War. That is where we met. We served together on the western front.

And just a reminder to offer up some words at your service tomorrow for Gertie May, our sister who's timely death got this ball rolling.

I can not wait for Mr M to return on Monday and while he will likely chastise me for bothering you all weekend, I am simply so excited that I can not contain myself.

I am thinking that Josson (my character) is going to have quite the Sunday from a religious perspective. uncertain as to if it is a dream or a reality.

So I am going to get myself ready ---- the next service is at noon, and I will be there all day and into the evening, going to do some retreat work.

I hope you are as excited as I am about all of this. Have you told your flock that you will be taking a leave of absence to do some mission work in Africa? How did they take it? I assume they understand. When God calls, people listen. Or at least they should. When they don't is when we have problems. Right Reverend?

I will check in tonite when I get back from Church. Hey you never answered my question. Do you record your sermons? Do you have a website for your church? Would love to hear you pontificate on the good book.

Pending your acceptance into our church not only will you have the honor of being the Church Project Manager you will also have the title of local Reverend bestowed upon you. You will be in charge of a Cathedral. This is, as you are aware a high honor. The membership process is arduous to become a member of M U I E but you have a leg up. You are a reverend, have an existing flock, I am sure you are a master theologian. The membership process is meant to test one's faith, and you, being a reverend have had your faith tested numerous times I am sure. so this will be a walk in the park for you.

Now here is the most exciting part. All applicants to our church must be sponsored.

Given the conflict of interest (me putting up the money and you being the project manager) they ordinarily would require you to have a different sponsor. But given the circumstances here, while I can not be 100% certain, we retreated about it, we spoke about it, and we prayed about it, and while I am not 100% sure...I believe that once Mr M gets the legals and financials vetted and you are approved, I believe, given my close ties to his Excellency they are going to approve me to be your sponsor. Please don't tell Mr M I let this cat out of the bag...
Please act surprised when it comes to fruition.

And brush up on your chess skills. His Excellency loves the Ruy Lopez opening as well as the London System. Smile

That is assuming you know how to play. You still have not responded to ANY of my emails. I know you are busy with your own flock and such, and probably doing what Mr M told you to do and that is to keep quiet until the legals and financials are effected.

That should all happen soon.

- Tell the idiot how much you enjoy his decision to be "a small part of such a great project."
- Ask him if he really is decided to become a member of the MUIE community ... with "great obligations" but also with "huge benefits".
- Offer to be a "celestial father" and a "main sponsor" for him.

Those who have convorted tend to have an easier time as they have already shown true commitment to faith. And my close personal ties to his excellency will make this merely a formality

This all has to happen before we can conduct any business. The elderly council has dictated that we only do business with those in our faith circle. So until you are a convort, especially now that you have agreed to oversee build of this cathedral , any and all business dealings must remain on hold so please contact the father right away the sooner you get started the sooner we can conduct our business. Lean on me Reverend as I am here to help you!
