I hope he goes for it. I really like his attitude lately. I think Moses and Moses would really get along. |

I'd love to team up with Mr Labowski and learn from him. Plus he's a master with his baiting character Moses, and a pro with the shipping company.
If it wasn't for his idea, I think this bait would be dead in the water because I really underestimated how jaded Moses (the lad) has become over the past year.
As soon as I hear back from Moses and get his address, hopefully we can get his ass moving again! |

Who wouldn't trust such an excellent company with their precious cargo? The unfortunate stredding incidents that have besmirched their reputation are easily explained - rogue staff, broken vehicles, killer gangs etc. However Moses M is THE man for the job. He will leave no stone unturned to ensure this lad has an unforgettable experience |

An eager Moses sent this to Gus Fring...
| Quote: |
Hello Mr. Gus
How are you doing i am waiting for your reply have you sent it?? |
| Quote: |
Hi Moses,
Who is this person that will be receiving the package? I always thought your name was Moses.
Anyway, I went to the local FedEx office yesterday and they wanted $480 to ship it! Can you believe that? It is pretty heavy with the laptop and Apple products, but still, that is an outrageous price! There are still a few shipping companies I am going to try out to get the best price. The DHL office is a little bit further away, but I am going to check it out later today or early tomorrow morning.
Please also be advised that whoever is receiving and picking up the package will have to have appropriate identification.
I thought about all that has happened to you and I decided to include $3,000 in the package instead of the $1,500 I originally said. The laptop, iPhone, and iPad are still in there as well. As I mentioned, the iPhone is slightly used, but still works just fine. The laptop and iPad are brand new, still in the boxes.
I really hope this good will gesture on my part will soothe any troubled waters from the past, and show you I am very serious about moving forward.
So anyway, I will be sending the package within the next day or so, depending on where I can get the best price.
Sincerely,
Gus |
$480 was far too much for Mr. Fring to spend sending his newly reunited ally Moses the package. He is going to check out DHL tomorrow and hope for a better price. If they can't do much better, there is a little known but "risky free" shipping company that can surely help... |

^^Thanks, but the credit goes to Mr. Labowski. I wouldn't have thought to try this angle, and was going to keep trying to get him to move by telling him there are transfers available for him to pick up. I don't want to jump the gun, but this seems fairly promising. Mr. Labowski and I have already scouted a perfect location for Moses' next Exodus...
...in another country. |

^ I find it quite understandable that Moe is a bit grumpy. If it is true that his life has gone down the toilet, being indebted at home and not only losing (selling) his scamming tools (ladtop+), but his wife too, he has every right to be unhappy about it.
Some people are really bad at dealing with uncertainty and not knowing, and you let him build up steam for a year, on safari, without friends and family, likely stredded in hash conditioning, wondering what had happened.
Offering him a new set of high end scamming tools is just genius, it gives him hope to rebuild his career as a POS scammer, and dreams of a brighter future. You have given him hope and purpose, in a hopeless situation.
I really hope he will have his special comeback here on eater. |

^^Thank you for that insightful reply. I hadn't even really thought about that before I decided what digital goods to send him, but it does make perfect sense that they would be a new means to an end for him. Mr. Labowski noted that the original address he gave is for a DHL office in Accra. Since I wont be sending it via DHL or Fedex, I press him for a residential address. I only say Fedex in the email below because I don't want to introduce the true shipping company before I get the address. I am going to say I am shipping it Fedex, then just email him and tell him it was sent the other way...
| Quote: |
Moses,
The address you gave me is a DHL office. I went to the DHL office yesterday evening, and they still wanted $426 to send it from the USA to their office there in Accra. That is still far too much. When I returned to the FedEx office to inquire what the rate would be, they informed me that it would only be $215 to ship to a residential address in Accra. The reason it was so expensive before is because FedEx would have to deliver it to a DHL office, which is against their policy.
Please provide me with a residential address so I can get this shipped to you. I refuse to pay such exorbitant prices like DHL is telling me. I would like to get this shipped out to you as soon as possible since it is all boxed up already, and the sooner you receive it the faster we can start on the next batch of RNs.

You're not in Kansas any more .... for a lot of Africa, there is no such thing as a residential address. Especially for slum dwellers.
If Moses is slummin' it, and hustling for work, all he can give you is a FedEx or DHL office location. If he doesn't come back with a street address, you might ask him for the name of the largest bank close to him and have the package (not) delivered there. Or any location where men with guns would start to pay attention to him.
Maybe the name he gave you earlier in the bait is the name on the documents he's using. |

That's ok. It will give Moses something to explain and whine about to Gus. Same as with any other lad, we are slowing things down and letting the anticipation build. |

@MANKIND /caps lock
I just got to page 15/50 of the thread you linked to in your opening post.
This lad is none too bright or even informed about what goes on today (Lunar Gold & and celestial mass driver shitments, from at.lantis - really?) - he seems to believe any BS in those emails and them intertubes - even if he displays moments of regret doing so.
He may even be well educated and a child with a well-to-do background, but then he really wants this to be true. A complete fool, suffering the Dunning-Kruger effect or an intelligent and overconfident smart ass, who had some success scamming and has huge ambitions?
There are cultural differences between west Africa and the west and superstition and distrust seem to thrive. Rightly distrusting their own government (or was it <b>gomer</b>nment?) and (dis)trusting western news sources alike. An almost obvious fake Homeland Magazine cover and a newspaper clipping makes a confirmed kill - and mining on the moon is just everyday stuff? Orpheus Mining corp. nonetheless.
Playing on his hopes is a good angle, p(l/r)aying on his vanity (assassins diploma! - with RSOT!!) or greed may point you in the right direction (DSW got turd on greed, if he lives, he is a almost a virtual billionaire - I have trouble accounting for his wealth in cash, gold and diamonds, but there are at least hundreds of virtual millions something;).
He might be contend with recovering his losses, pay of his debt at home and being able to return in some kind honour - who knows. There seems to be an issue with overconfidence, burnt connections not so much - they still are a problem.
Is he afraid of returning as a fool? |

Gus is annoyed with Moses' stubbornness and/or refusal to follow directions, so he comes up with a fair solution (at the excellent suggestion of MuzunguTheHuntress )...
| Quote: |
Moses,
The FedEx office in Accra is permanently closed. Please search Google for FedEx in Accra, Ghana and you will see (this is actually true, and works nicely in our favor). I spoke with a representative at FedEx at they will only deliver to a residential address. If this is not amenable to your situation, FedEx has a partnership with certain businesses in Accra since their office is closed. The one recommended to me was Barclays Bank Ghana, Ltd. They will accept packages from FedEx and a few other companies (continuing to introduce the idea of another shipping company so it doesn't come out of nowhere), as long as the person picking up the package is able to present a valid identification. The address is below:
NO.13/3, Accra BOX AN 5243, Ghana
Kwame Nkrumah Ave
Please let me know if this is agreeable for you as I can send it out tomorrow, and using their expedited service, it will reach you within roughly one week.

Moses is suspicious of the plan to send the package to the bank for him (or his friend) to pick up. It sounds "rough."
| Quote: |
Hello Mr Gus
How are you doing? Please i dont trust such service from FedEx to Bank its sound rough please send it today via DHL?? and get back to me DHL office is here live and direct please Okay. Send it today via DHL and get back to me, sorry for the delay in reply its due to the fact that i do not have access to computer.
Go and send it now there is no time to waste.
Thanks and God Bless |
Unfortunately for Moses, Mr. Fring has already sent the package. Not using DHL. Not using FedEx. He used a little lesser know, but very reliable shipping company. |

Gus Fring sends this off to the stubborn and impatient Moses. I suspect he won't be too happy that I did not use DHL or FedEx. What could possibly go wrong?
Major props to Mr. Labowski for knocking up the fake receipt!
| Quote: |
Moses,
I have fantastic news!
An old colleague of mine came in to my store a few days ago, and as we were in the middle of our discussion, he mentioned a shipping company has been using for nearly a decade when sending packages to west Africa with a 100% success rate! Even better, they charge roughly half the price as DHL and FedEx! I am so happy that this is all coming together so nicely!
Moses! Package is on its way! I started it in Albuquerque and it's currently in Austin. It won't be long now before you have your goods, as well as a few extra little goodies I decided to send you. Remember how I recided to send you $3,000 instead of the original $1,500? Well in addition to that, I have sent you three 1 ounce gold coins. One is 24 Karat, and the other two are 22 karat. The value of these three coins along is nearly $4,000 Moses. The brand new lap top, as well as the brand new iPad are also included in the package, as well as the iPhone 6. You may be wondering why I have sent you so many expensive gifts, and the reason is quiet simple. I know you suffered greatly Moses, and I want to make all of that up to you. Between the $3,000 in hard cash,
the nearly $4,000 in coins
and all of the electronic goods, the package is worth nearly $13,000!
I have attached the receipt for the website of GPS3 that you can track the package on. You will use the Parcel Number to track the package. Just so we are clear:
Go to GPS3 (link to website) , then REGISTER with a username and password, then SIGN IN, then enter the PARCEL NUMBER D9UP<snipped>AR51 to track your package.
Moses, GPS3 WILL deliver to the DHL office for your convenient pickup!
Moses, attached is the receipt for GPS3 where you will find all of the information. I also included a picture of the cash I sent to you (so you know it is genuine I included a sign including the GPS Track Name)
and lastly, I included my last surprise for you of the 3 full ounces of gold, valued at nearly $4,000.
Moses - This was an extreme act of good will on my part. I know you suffered greatly on some of our failed expeditions due to things that were out of our control, however, I do expect you to be ready to go once your package arrives and you have all the necessary money, tools, and equipment to start picking up the next batch of funds. Do we have a deal?
Please try to get back to me before the weekend.
Here is the proof of the transaction (Receipt):
Your friend,
Gus
|
Let's see how this sits with Moses.
MAJOR props to Mr. Labowski for knocking up the fake receipt and setting up the shipping company. The cash pics were mine from a little while ago, as well as (legitimate lol) gold that I own.
Snipped part of the tracking number to keep searches from coming here. It would be horrible to lose this tool. - bware419ers |
