I retired when I met Nick and he wanted to give up being a soldier at Rammstein air force base in Germany and become a farmer. So we emigrated here and we ended up in Yalbraith, which is good farming country. If I had known how lonely that would be I would never have agreed to it though

Yes, I live alone on the farm. It is so cold and empty there by myself, sometimes I just cry myself to sleep at night. My friends come around when they can but it is not the same as sharing the place with a loving husband.

The divorce is ongoing and I am fighting for control of the farm. I want to sell it and move to Sydney, Nick wants to evict me and move in with his new lover. Did I mention Nick has left me for a 19yo... MAN?

What does he have that I don't?

YM has a problem retrieving past conversation histories so I can't catch up the whole conversation. But, in a nutshell, Elise is going to Holland the beginning of next month. Scott says his birthday is Oct. 12 and what a good present it would be for him for the two to meet. Unfortunately, when Elise tells him the date she's flying there, he says that his "financial situation" is "unstable". After she says that she'll be flying to Germany next year and that they can meet then, he laments about how perfect it would be to meet in Holland...and if she could just loan him the money for the ticket (since his credit card doesn't work and he can't access his account), he'll pay her back when he gets back in the US. Since he's US military, he has to book a special military ticket.

At first, we discuss WU. Then he spends a day searching for a bank account and claims there is none to give. Oh, darn, Elise tells him, I guess we can't meet then. So, he changes his tune and offers his "cousin's" bank account.

I am sorry schatzi, but so much has happened in the last few hours. Nick has been arrested and is in a holding cell in Goulburn jail. After he pulled out a knife a guard pulled out a taser and used it on Nick.

The judge has ruled in my favour, the farm is mine! I am in hospital just getting checked over I should be home soon. Then to sell it and move to Sydney. My darling niece Sabrina and I have been talking about renting an apartment

New wrinkle though. Elise had to cancel her trip to Holland due to her being sick. Poor baby just lost his birthday present. But, he has cooked up another scheme....missing artillery that he's in charge of. Sooo, he wants Elise to send him money via his cousins bank account so that he can go out and replace what's missing.

Kat sent the lad a package via our favorite local courier. Unfortunately, the package (containing an iPhone and a personal check) arrived in Niger rather than Nigeria. Lad was tracking the package closely, and let Kat know he was not happy with her sense of geography.

So Kat changed the package destination, which arrived safely in Abuja in the northern part of Nigeria.

What's that, lad? You're in Akure, not Abuja?? Alas, today Kat got tired of the whole thing and the package has now been recalled. It will head back to the US of A where Kat can retrieve her check, but she of course cannot forward any money to the lad until she gets her check back!

ETA during this whole process, Kat went on a bender. Half her emails were drunken gibberish. No wonder her sense of geography is so wonky!
