In real life, Strangeways is in Weatherfield, home of Coronation St. I went one lunchtime to watch the riots when the prisoners were all on the roof, staying out of missile throwing range, and listened in all night on a scanner to all the kerfuffle. I also have a UK lad who lives nearby. |

Before I began my meager baiting "career" and even registered I spent hours reading Shivers baits... AMAZING. It's what inspired me to give it a try. I am slowly building a catalog of baits that have some of the humor, time-wasting and account killing of Shiver but still a long way to go! Thanks to everyone here for your insight and continued encouragement! |

Before finding this site, I had no idea such a thing as scam baiting existed. When I read of Shiver's exploits, I was like "Damn, this is totally cool AND funny!" Now, to see the legacy of scam fighting plus support for vics, I have to say I am truly impressed. People on 419eater and scamwarners are doing God's (or who/whatever you think of as a force for good in the universe) work.
As you can probably tell, I've wanted to get that off my chest for a while. Thanks. |

I'm new (and French) and I read your all your letter archive on and on for years now ! And I was asking myself the same question as the name of this topic, I'm glad to see that you are still alive !
You are truly the master as scam baiting, the way you write, your humor, how you set up the scammers, truly I'm a fan !
I really hope one day you will have time to do scam bait again, with all the new technology for communication, I think you can do great things !
