We're forecast to start snowing in about 3-4 hours. Meh -- we've already had five feet in the past three weeks. We have no place to put the :poop: !!!

(Sorry, can't help myself. I don't know how you guys live in such frigid winters. I grew up in New England so I am well familiar, but I got out just as fast as I possibly could........)

I hate this place -- fifteen years and I'm still freezing! I wanna go home. I'm afraid that FL is out of the question, but there's a possibility of TX, AZ or NM in the not too distant future!

Those are certainly warm............. My daughter is (temporarily) in Phoenix and she HATES the heat. She can't wait to move home again.

/\/\/\ LOL, I guess we always want to be someplace "better", eh? I might find that kind of heat a bit much after being away from FL for so long, too -- I hadn't thought about that.
Even the very hottest days here bother me, now that I think about it ... I will have to do the research and see if there's a "happy medium" -- other that becoming a snowbird!!! Laughing

But admittedly we do have a downside: earthquakes.

Then again, I've lived here 40 years and have been through many earthquakes, including the major Loma Prieta quake of 1989, and I'm still fine.

LOL, you're an old-timer, then -- nothing's gonna bother you!!!

We actually had a couple of those things here in CT last week I think it was -- I had no idea we had 'em here!

And of course, while we're comparing -- FL is always subject to nasty 'canes and tornadoes; thunder and lightning storms are daily through the "rainy" season. Nastiest lightening on the planet.

Spicy Spaghetti and blarney stones should heat this house up tonight. What's all that you ask? Spaghetti made regular (salt and pepper, garlic, lots and lots of garlic) but with a heavier than usual punch of cayenne pepper. Blarney stones, jameson + ginger ale + a dash of lime juice.

It's trying to calm down some here ... we've received 4 inches so far. It's 20F with more snow and freezing rain expected in about 12 hours.

Here in the mitten, we've been dealing with the coldest, snowiest Feb. on record. Temps have been running -9 to -15 overnight with days in the single digits. It was 18F yesterday and felt like a heat wave.

I want to hibernate for a month.

Its a boiling 7 degrees and cloudy here, however on Sunday we're off skiing in the Itailian Alps, where its -15 at nights and there's 6 foot of snow.
