Hammad is getting annoyed. I gave him the silent treatment over the weekend and Gr3tchen got this rude Sunday message:

I really don´t know why I answer you at all, as you certainly do not deserve it, but anyway.

The Café was closed from Friday to Monday morning and their WLAN switched off, as the 1st November is All Saints Day in Germany. When I tried to log in again yesterday I found out that they have restricted the access to their server and now require username and password. So I was cut off completely. Fortunately I had an appointment today with my gynecologist for the annual checkup which allowed me to leave the clinic, albeit escorted. On the way back I asked for permission to have a Cappuccino and a piece of cake at the Café, which allowed me to get their "customer access code". It looks like they are not going to change it on a regular basis as it is pretty simple and straightforward. Most probably they just don´t want all the neighbours piggybacking on their account as it really wears down the speed.

The next surprise came in three identical yet panic stricken mails from Isabella, warning me that Helmut´s relatives have not only begun to turn my house upside down in search of the bank account details - happy hunting as they are in a secret bank vault in Greece, what is most worrying is that they have also hired a rather capable Private Detective to find my bank account. In my current situation I would have no chance to fight for my rights and all my money would end up in the pockets of Helmut´s greedy relatives.

I would have transferred the first batch of 5.000 USD already this afternoon, if I hadn´t stumbled across your nasty little mail. Oh, and I would have sent you a nice and sexy picture of me taken this summer on a Greek island.

I am not sure what to do now. In most of your mails I can feel genuine love and then you destroy everything by [sexual expletive] off like a macho bastard who thinks women are nothing more than household appliances and should be treated like cattle.

One thing is for sure - I will have to get out of this clinic as soon as possible. Normally I would have relied on your help, but now I will ask Isabella and her friends.

Dear Hammad, you ought to bring along a very good explanation for your behaviour and a sincere and heartfelt apology before I am willing to offer you my heart again.

But I write you with some amazing news. Two days ago I was released from the clinic - unconditionally and with phone and credit cards - yipee! Helmut´s nephew was extremely annoyed when I showed up at home and took my Boxster out of the garage. I must get a court order to kick them all out of my house before they get too comfortable.

I am now in Siena with Isabella and enjoy my new freedom. It is a real pity that you do not want to see me any more, but I think I will get over you. Cruising in a powerful sportscar around the countryside of Tuscany at this time of the year is almost as good as sex - and it lasts longer.
