I couldn't remember the Phrase for BBROYGBVGW so I had to remember the Letters and write them down quick.
...and yes, they are the colors of electrical resistors. I had to be able to tell the resistance of them without measuring them. (For you Geeks, there is also a "Milspec" band that when I was in school meant that they were within 5% of the labeled resistance. (I think, It was only 30+ years ago) |
