Maybe tell him you're in a meeting and not available until a specific time? I hope this isn't your RL phone. If your character is in the US, you may want to explain the time zone issue as well.

It isn't my RL phone, it's a Skype number I set up for audio calls with lads.

I've decided to email him at night as it's nighttime where my character is.

I think this lads been around the block a couple of times. He dumped me because he could never get through on the phone. I told him that his inability to complete a simple phone call and live within the means of his credit cards were his issues, not mine...

I really would get very worried about this. It's likely a call to make sure you're real. Just answer the phone with you're companys name talk about your product for a minute and done.

The lad isn't going to want to interview you. The only thing he cares about is racking up charges. You'll do fine.

Gave him my number. Hopefully he calls and I can get some CC numbers out of him yet. And maybe put a dent in his phone bill a bit.

I do love when they call!
Fun things to do to them:

"can you speak up, I can barely hear you"
wait till they get real loud
"I need the first 4 digits again"
He won't be loud enough, ask again.
Repeat the numbers back to him all wrong.
He will eventually give up and email you everything you want.

If he wants you to process the card while he holds (I had one do that), use
"I need to reboot my system, I'm going to put you on hold, probably 15 minutes?" Walk away. Perhaps email him the next day and ask why he hung up on you.

^Just a heads up kuro..when he talking to me, he was on the web. He wanted to know the local time where my company is located.

He wants to be on the phone when he gives his card information. He is one of the most paranoid cc lads that I have dealt with to date.

I told him that I was personally offended that someone that emailed me was asking so many personal questions and I would cancel his order.

Then I hung up and did not take his further calls....but I did email his delivery co. and asked her how well she knew him. 'Cause he sure was asking some suspicious questions. Laughing

His last two emails to me....

I have already email the sheeper, and invoiced him and now he wants a call? Feh, I'm in meetings all day and busy-my accounting department, who is run by Ginger and Juan, requires all payment details in writing! He may twig but I'm not bring a baiter phone on vacation!
