Scammers don't have to believe one bit, they just need the victim to pay. This is one big reason they play along with many unbelievable baits.
Others, they are gradually manipulated into believing just like victims are.

You won't get a tattoo (or even a picture) in the first few emails - the lad has to be totally immersed in the fantasy world that you have for them.

If you look at the long running baits, the lads are now so totally in belief of the world that has been built for them that they are probably no longer able to function properly in real life. They are broken in the same way that they leave their victims.

As was said before, the concept of doing something for nothing is totally alien to scammers, but if you offer them enough money they will happily do anything until you find the limit of their greed.

Also, a fair share of baiting is straight: acting like a victim, no fantasy worlds, no nothing. Having done it for years, I can tell that when done properly you are not going to tell even after the first few weeks or even months, let alone emails, if I'm a real victim or not.

^^^I agree completely. The majority of the baiting I do is "straight" baiting. For the 500 in 6 thread (linked in my siggy), it is nothing but straight baiting with about 20 different baits running at any given time. These are the most successful, in my opinion. In less than 40 days, I have collected over 200 various piggies which creates a hardship for the lads.

However, I like to have fun, too. These, are typically the posts I make because there is humor in them. If any of the baiters here were to post every bait they were involved with, there would be no actual time for baiting.
