My suggestion would be to let the mods handle such a thing if they think it is needed. And given that it was R8 that brought this up, no mod is going to do that. Why? Because those of us that know his outspoken sense of humor after all these years, rather expect jokes like this from him. So, lighten up, do more baiting, less lecturing and you will fit in here just fine.

Hopefully we all do our best to make our parents and our country proud of us. However, what sticks in my throat is the annoying fawning BBC news coverage of the whole affair that I'm forced to pay for.

The funniest thing that made me laugh today was when the BBC's commentator said that Prince Harry made an "attractive target" for the Taliban. Come on! He's a ginner FFS!

Before anybody gets on my case, I love the Queen. Sadly the rest of them just don't cut the mustard...they have servants to do that for them.

Tommo, I think that we misunderstood each other. I didn't mean that negative comments about royalty shouldn't be made; everyone has their opinion to express. I like reading what people write. What I meant to say was blatant insults that are extremely derogatory which could possibly cause flame wars or other problems shouldn't be posted.

I dropped it in favor of an anti-Mac avatar that was in response to the Vista trolling. Then I made up with a couple of the Vista-trollers and in turn, have taken out the anti-Mac sentiments in my sig and avatar in turn for them taking out the anti-Vista stuff. I am working on a new one that will be just as "cool"...

Staying on topic, I had originally posted that I am glad to see that this scumbag is going to Hell finally for outwardly ignoring the UN and NATO's chemical weapon bans, but then I foresaw anti-USA people trolling on me for being a "hypocrite" when my country defied the UN and invaded Iraq anyway, so rather than have a political debate, I just reread the post, got the joke, and changed my post.

Personally, I don't condone backseat modding. Contrary to popular belief, many mods don't want users sucking up to them all the time and being treated like gods of the forums. They just want to be normal users with the added responsibility of correcting the blemishes of the forum. I know this doesn't apply to all mods, but thats just how I feel and its what I experienced when I was a mod for various gaming communities (I of course lied about my age). I didn't mean to be a backseat mod, I just made a poor joke. Very Happy
