Its always so sad to put down a pet but it really is best. To not have a friend suffer is such a blessing. Maybe in a few days you could visit a shelter. |

I know how you feel, my best friends dog has been having fits and didn't react well to the vet shot and is now running into walls and getting stuck in small places.

We've decided not to do that - we have another 17 year old cat (who is now completely confused and constantly looking for his 'bro'), but he is infected with FIV (cat-aids); he's doing pretty well but we don't want to risk getting a kitten or orphan-cat infected too (even though chances of infection are rather low, Amadeus wasn't), so we'll stick to Figaro as long as we can, and see afterwards.
