If you didn't get what you ordered send it back.
Don't take second best.
The great thing is you haven't shelled out for it yet, as I understand.
send the damned thing back. They don't care for you as a customer so why should you care for them as a supplier.

A few more weeks won't matter Smile

Check Grattan's small print SP. I bet they have a get-out clause where they will send you a computer of equal value if they don't have the model you ordered in stock. This could go on for months. Rolling Eyes

Ahhhh, so it does, it is the same number at the bottom as it says on the box as, DV6331eu

This has actually done me a favour by Grattan having a misprint in their catalogue, because the original laptop I ordered was this 2GB one for �1,199:

HP Laptop

When they sent it to me, it was the wrong one, so I sent it back and ordered the cheaper 1GB version for �999:

HP Laptop

Both the laptops on the links above are the same, except that the �1,199 one has 2GB RAM + 120GB HD, comapred to the �999 one having 1GB RAM + 100GB HD, now I have got the 2GB I wanted but for the price of the cheaper one, thus saving me �200, plus it's got 40GB more HD space more than the expensive one, and Vista instead of XP, result Laughing

@ WindyPops, I am actually surprised they are letting me keep it, I wanted to keep the last one they sent, but customer services said I had to send it back because HP are not allowed to send alternative laptops that are not listed for sale in the Grattan catalogue, they didn't say that this time.

I don't like the keyboard and mousepad thing on laptops, so I will have to get a new USB or wireless keyboard and mouse, then keep the laptop keyboard covered in something to keep it pristine as I wont be using that.
