Even I get pulled up by KD for my spelling and grammar every now and then, and I own the damn place. Smile

EDIT #1: He does make quite a few mistakes himself of course, but it's not worth the aggravation to bring them up!

The fellow with the sign doesn't make sense to me yet, since I've just now been rudely awakened by my mobile. A call from a crack head who used to live here in this (boarding type) house. Naturally I ignored him...

Some O levels you say? How's 10 years of upper education compare to that I ask? I'm not familiar with the 'European' levels system. Perhaps one could educate me in the subject, since learning is a continuous process, and I haven't stopped yet.

on another note: i like the picture of the guy in the yellow shirt... looks like my kinda guy... great smile that.... must like to have fun...

no, i don't scare off easily, i think i'll remain... to enjoy all of your company and (good) humour...

Don't think for a moment that they're trying to scare you off - it's just a poke fun at the new person time, and of course a sharp exchange of wit is always a welcome diversion from the serious matter of baiting! Very Happy

But seriously though, the most important bit of info is what Ivor said earlier... please, please don't get scammer's emails shut down, UNLESS they are paid for, or are phone lads.

Although there is much on this forum about scamming in a fun way, most of us spend a lot of serious time nurturing and sometimes even 'befriending' scammers, finding out more potent info, like bank details, other email addresses they use, and other information which could even lead to a possible arrest, and many months work can just be deleted when someone thinks they are doing good turn and the email address just dissapears. I actually sat with tears of frustration recently when this happened to me, and I still haven't regained contact with the particular scammer. He probably thinks it was me that shut his accounts down. Sad

So if you like to play with their minds over a period of time, read up on the everday baits, but if you like to annoy the heck out of them and get a quick return, get thee to the Phone Lads Forum http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=45- they always need more helping hands there!!! It's interesting the number of people here who are particular about correct spelling, punctuation, syntax, grammer, etc. I like to think that I'm among that number and it always irritates me a little when substandard typing is used. It is rather like poorly spoken English when one knows the correct way to speak. My two peccadillos in that sense would be my occasional use of the colloquialisms "kinda" and "y'all", which I know to be substandard or regionalisms, but I kinda like to throw them in occasionally anyway. . . Very Happy

All that said, welcome to our new member. There's always a little break-in period while you learn the ropes. Do you have a mentor yet? Even if you've been baiting for a while, there are always new things to learn and better ways of doing things.

(edit) I just realized that I posted without having read all the prior posts. I hope I didn't repeat what someone else already said. I've got to go get some more coffe now, so I can be bothered to check and edit.)

Sorry to bring this up again and leaving aside spelling, punctuation, etc. for a moment. I knew I'd read something about scam.com's history somewhere, but couldn't find it. I finally found it today. This is from another forum I post on sometimes:
