I apologise for being so slow in responding; Mr Hilts has had me travelling all over, and getting hold of the money. He is a powerful, and quite rude, man in the Church, and he can make his displeasure known quite forcefully.

We want the Church characters to describe Mr Hilts as being a very nice man, who is not a member of the Church, but who has taken care of all their banking needs for several years. That way, when the lad inevitably tries to reveal Hilts's true nature to the Church characters, they don't believe the lad.

Roger reminds the lad yet again that he can't send by WU:

There is no way to verify this. The only information would have to come from the lad.
