Thanks to the tutelage of The Monsignor after nearly a month with a scammer I finally got my first account.
It was one of those diplomatic courier deals, where he needed some money to clear customs for my millions.
After weeks of back and forth, when he wanted my phone number, but wouldn't call Duckling's abuse line because it had a Finnish country code, TM and I finally called his original number that he gave me for Nigeria.
After that, a series of geography lessons by the lad (originally I was to send money to Seatel New York, then it was at JFK airport, then Seattle WA, so I sent the money to Seattle, New York, which he didn't like, but mostly didn't like the stamp covering the MTCN.
And while complaining that his man is a family man, stuck at the airport waiting for my payment (for 8 days?), I finally got the bank account info.
It was harder than I thought, but I got one! |
