Catcher account received an odd one over the weekend. Initially I passed it off as spam rather than scam, until I saw it in the surplus forum (HERE).

It is a simple one-line email directing you to this website... http://www.ms-income.net/. Which, in turn, redirects you to this actual address... http://www.ms-income.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=9

Now here's where things get interesting. It's not just a spam message conveniently linked on a forum. It appears... that the whole forum is ... whatever the hell this is. Take a look... http://www.ms-income.net/phpBB/index.php

I want to bait them. I just haven't figure out how to even begin to go about doing so... and doing so safely, as this appears rather more organized than our typical lads.

Ewwww,

I looked and it made me feel like I had slime on me. I don't know how, but I would be happy to help shut this site down.

It sounds like this other scam I saw once called "Permaworld", which was a pyramid scheme wrapped up in groovy hippy clothes. It was transparently fraudulent to me, but it fooled some people. Many of the "posts" were from the organizers.

They do give money to organizations, many of whom defend this ponzi scheme.

Permaworld is still active, having died and rebirthed itself....
