OK this one looks more like a phishy than a 419, but anybody seen this one before? The bank is real, but somehow I doubt they'll pay even a measly $35 to any idiot with an inbox. Unfortunately the link is dead. What's the deal here... standard phishing attack? Just curious. Here's the e-mail.

Looks phishy, without the questionnaire, (fill in all your personal details probably) and you'll get $35, they'll get your entire account.

It's a phising email. I have seen similar ones from other banks and credit unions.

The link to the "customer survey" is dead anyway
and it seems carolina bank dot net is a legit site.

Disgruntled website adminis-"traitor" perhaps?

I got my RCMP guy onto it, he said it's probably just another phishy but they'll check out what they can. Gotta love them crazy mounties!

Thanks for yer input though. I've seen lots of "verify your account" phishies from every bank under the sun, but this was the first survey.
