I was ontacted by D0n Ch4rl3s / W4lt3r S!m0n. He claimed to be a Swedish Businessman in Malta. He wanted to order a silver bracelet (26,50 euros). After a while I recieved a cheque for 5000 euros (!!).
yesterday he contacted me if I had recieved the Cheque

Yeah reight, extra payment for airfee and hotel bills and all for a 26,50 bracelet.
I performed a lookup on his IP adres found in the headers of his e-mail and they resolved to NIGERIA (need i say more?)
I adviced him to go sell peanuts on the local market or get educated i.s.o. scamming in such obvious ways.

his IP: 196.1.190.2
I hope google indexes this page soon. |

We try not to educate scammers. That just makes them better at their job, and more likely to fool a real victim.
In short, you should be playing him along like a real victim, wasting as much of his time and money as you can.
And we also never put their full names on here.
We DON'T want them googling their name and it ends up here. That's very counter-productive.
I'd advise that you edit your post to mask his name like this: D0n Ch4rl3s / W4lt3r S!m0n.

Thank you Mugatu, my post was more like a warning than a scambaiting story. I don't have time for scambaiting, but I enjoy reading the stories here (keep up the good work).
My main goal was to get him of my back and to warn other people (thru Google indexing) but I understand it's better to not attrakt his attention to this community. Thanks for the advice! |
