One of my lads is using the name of a genuine prominent London barrister. I've found loads of info on the barrister so I replied to the lad pretending that we were old mates and I could come and visit him in London. For some reason he got cold feet Confused

I am glad you thought i very necessary to be in London; that would have been great. Presently i am in Glasgow where i have being handling a case for the past one year. This is a very difficult time to see me as i shuttle between England and New-zealand, It is almost impossible for you to see me now. The time for the expiration of the demurrage is very near and i do not know how i can cope, that is why i need your undivided attention on this case. We can communicate through phone, fax and email until i am settled. The change of beneficiary status should not take more than five days to process.

The finance institute sent me a final notice of deposit two days ago and the remaining time we have is very short. Attached is a scanned copy of the notice. You need to send me those documents I requested of you so that we can proceed with this transaction immediately.

I will be expecting to here from you as soon as possible.

I am baiting my first scammer, he is also using the name of a genuine British barrister, not sure if he's in London but it looks like it from the website. Is your guy calling himself D@vid P1evsky by any chance? (Could it be the same one?)

My first two emails were quite well-written but sure enough, as soon as he went "off-script" the writing was atrocious, as I saw predicted here.

Seems like the only time they want to meet us is when we have over 20 thousand or so to personally hand over to them... Smile
