Long time listener, first time caller... you know the drill.

After so much laughter reading all of the letters, I decided to join the cause and do my own bait. I am into the first few emails, my lad is off script and things are going well.

I overheard someone on this forum mention that they would like to create a deck of playing cards with all of the art work that has been received. I thought that it might be a good idea if I could get my lad to actually hand paint the cards themselves so here is tthe conversation so far. Sorry if this post is long...

First, your average 419 email informing me that a relative with my same last name has died and that I need to claim his inheritance. I then reply with...

I am so happy you decided to contact me. I am a
retired C.E.O. of a research firm and am currently
spending my free time working on my family history.
For some time now, I have reached a dead end with my
genealogy and am overjoyed that you know something
about a relative I was not aware of. In fact, I have
recently received a large grant from my former company
to assist me in finding out about my family. I would
be happy to share much of this money with you if you
are able to prove to me that you have records of my
relative.

You see, I come from a long line of magicians. I have
many records of their performances but not many
artifacts. The money has been given to me to find
items that belonged to members of my family so that
they can be donated to the magician's alliance museum.

Do you know if my relative was a magician? If so, do
you have access to their personal property that was
kept after the crash? Please let me know if I can
hire you to get access to some of these items.

Hello Bluth,

I am happy for your response. The reason i contacted you, according to my previous mail is that you related to him by the virtue of your names.I want you to know that this transaction is very crucial and should be accorded seriousness that it demands. I work with the Bank where this fund is deposited. I want you to know that we will do this transaction under a strict legal arrangement where no law of any nation or organization or country will be violated.

My Client, late Mr. H4rrison Bluth. died in the year 1999 from Air Crash and left some amount of money with my bank. After making the necessary account balancing, I discovered that he left a total of Six million four hundred million united states dollars with my bank (US$6, 400.000.00) and without any registered next of kin.

I don't think you quite understood my last email.
What I want from you is much more valuable than money.
I need to know about my family. And I am willing to
pay up to $90,000 depending on how much information
you can offer me. The thing that would mean the most
to me is if you had anything that Harrison Bluth
owned. If you do, I would be able to pay you for it.
It would mean so much to me.

I would possibly be able to pay you even more if you
had anything related to magic. The Bluths are known
for their magic. Even something as simple as a deck
of cards, if you could prove it was owned by Harrison
Bluth might get you up to $12,000. I would have to
check with the magician's alliance museum to see if
they would pay for that but I think they would.

Please tell me as soon as possible if you have
anything that my relative, Harrison Bluth owned and if
you can prove to me that I am related to him.

I was told by Mr. 4d4ms Willi4ms that you may be able
to help me. My name is George Bluth. My family has
an uncle that we have been trying to find for years.
Unfortunately, Mr. Willi4ms has informed me that my
uncle Bluth died in a plane crash and that you were in
charge of his estate.

Although I am saddened to have lost my uncle, we are
overjoyed that you may be able to fill in some gaps
about where he has been for the last few years for we
have not seen him for almost a decade. There was a
fight between him and my grandfather (did he ever
speak of this?) and since my grandfather died, we have
not heard form him.

I am sure we will have a lot to talk about but before
we do, there is one thing that I need from you. Our
family comes from a line of well-known magicians and
the Magicians 4lliance Museum has decided to make an
exhibit of our collection. They are opening the
exhibit this fall and I would love to include some
items that were owned by my Uncle Harrison Bluth.

Please look to see if you can find anything retlating
to magic in his estate. i would be happy to pay you
for them and your services.

There is one item in specific that I am not sure if
you have or not. Uncle Harrison had a deck of playing
cards given to him by an artist friend of his. They
look like normal playing cards but if you look
closely, each card is hand painted, front and back.
Our family has never seen these cards but we have
heard so much about them. It seems unlikely that you
may have them but I am going to include a picture of
Uncle Harrison inspecting the cards. I am sorry we
can't be more help with what they look like but I have
been told that they look just like a normal deck of
cards, only hand painted. That is all I know.

If you can find them, our family would be more than
willing to pay you $8000 upon inspection for your
troubles. Is that a fair amount? Please let me know
ASAP and I will let you know where to send them.

If you find any other items that relate to magic, let
us know as well. We need those soon and we are able
to pay you for them.

My name is B4rrister Cris J0nes and I was oppurtuned to be an attorney to your deceased uncle Mr Bluth, i knew some facts about him and his magical prowness/potentials. He demonstrated a magical act in the year 1999 at the African Mgical/Meusem Exhibition useing a card of that nature painted with hands but i will have to confirm from the African Magical center on the card if it is that same one because they have information on it as he , Mr harrison sopke with the organisers of the exhibition on that day.

I can assist you and your family but before I will do this, i have to first make a visit to the African Magician and Meusum center where some of his magical works are recorded and stored and ascertain on how we can go about securing it for you and your family because it is not always an easy thing to move another person magical potentials.

I will discuss with the authorities and will respond back to you without delay.

As of this moment, I am attending a conference at South Africa and will be back to my country west Africa tomorrow night.

I am a graphic designer and am more than capable of handling myself as far as emails, forms and images are concerned. I am even willing to open up a P.O. Box if he wants to send something. But, being a newbie, I am not comfortable with the phone calls yet. Would any seasoned baiter like to take upon my vocal persona? I would need a regular American sounding Joe.

I can envision this one being real fun seeing that no matter what I request, he has to provide it, seeing that these items supposedly already exist. I foresee me wanting to pay a large amount for his journal. Imagine this lad having to create a journal from scratch. I've never seen my Uncle's journal before. I have only heard about it. I have heard it is about inch thick and he wrote about his journeys and experiences as a magician. Let's see how good these lads really are at English.

I can also foresee having my lad deposit the journal in a safe deposit box somewhere where we have been keeping all the magic stuff. I can tell him that his money is in the box waiting. That would be a cool safari. I could even send him a key or something. What about a video of him demonstrating some of the magic tricks he learns from Uncle's records?

But I am getting ahead of myself. Anybody in? Maybe I can get a mentor out of this? PM me soon so I can answer this guy back.

Open up a K7.net free phone number. It will allow him to leave voice messages & send faxes. Tell him either you always miss his call or that you live in a mountainous area where the reception is so bad it doesn't ring too often.

I like your story -- obviously the lad is playing along with you knowing full well that it's a bunch of crap, but if it can possibly get him some money, then he's game. The test for you is not to press for too much too soon. If you have the skills and abilities available to you as you describe, then you may be able to convince the lad to engage you all the way. If you do it will be a great bait!

Nice bait. Keep feeding the mugu with crap about magic. Take it easy and the mugu will be the one that will come to you.

Make a simple sketch of what the cards have and send it to the mugu. Make it very simple so the mugu may be able to reproduce. Laughing

Tell the mugu to pose with one card like this.
I have been trying to collect the rest of the poker lad project cards that were needed.
Almost have all of them. Here is one
