What have I done? I gave him a middle aged Swede with an inportant position in the muncipality of Stockholm! A wealthy Scandinavian, for crying out loud! Who was "a bit interested." But nothing! I am very dissapointed. Now I will never get anything from that German Bank....

How long has it been since you heard from the lad? Or was this your initial contact?

Either way -- don't give up hope -- as long as the email didn't bounce, the lad is still a live play.

Only a couple of days ago. But heck, what kind of work ethics is it to send off scamming e-mails, and then not answer me pronto? I am a buissy man working in a muncipality.

I do see that this can be used, though. When the mail finally comes, I can always start with "Dear mr. Whatnot, I am so relieved! I was so afraid that you wouldn't write me back etc, etc..."

The only thing that surpasses a lads greed is his laziness. Give him a few more days or if your really keen send him a short mail to let him know your still around; no doubt he will mail you back blaming you for the delay. They do have a habit of forgetting who they have responded to sometimes.

If you're that keen GeorgeJ I'd run two or three so that it isn't that important to you that you get a reply from any one in particular. They are your toys to play with. If you aren't getting the fun you want from one, run some more.

If it gets too busy you can always make them wait, or drop one - the one who is least fun. I've had up to 20 running at once, but that is too much and gets awafully messing and confusing, and leads to nervous breakdowns.

Once you get a 'keeper' you can train him to follow your timetable and jump to your commands.

I've only been doing this for a short time, but the lads run the gambut of laziness. I've had some mail back within a couple hours and others who always respond a day later at the same time. Don't forget, they have to fight for their cyber cafe time.

George - When you think you have a "good" mugu on the hook, start a second bait of him using a different e-mail account and a different "modality".

Then, if both your baits go silent at the same time, you know something happened on his end (he has been arrested, thrown out of the internet cafe, beaten up, etc.)

If only your main bait goes silent, you know that he realized something was wrong - keep baiting him on the 2nd account, using a different technique.

With a lot of baits its a numbers game. Start baiting with 10-15 lads and drop them as they prove useless. You'll often have to mess with quite a few of them to find a really fun one.
