I reported an account today. Alan sent back this message so I decided to publish it as requested.

Up until now, I have manually removed all baiter details from the e-
mails received by blanking them out when the authorities ask for the
evidence. However, I have been asked by LE to put the e-mails into
a database (there are around 2,000 of them) and it is therefore
important that, in future, baiters remove their own details from the
forwarded e-mails.
Essentially, can you ask your friends to remove their baiter e-mail
addy and their ip (usually the first one with the latest time against
it) before forwarding their e-mails in future -then they cannot be
traced. The sender information on the forwarded mail is safe as I
only extract the contents of the forwarded mail not the headers.
Could you also ask them to forward the e-mails as letters rather than
as attachments, since the system I am designing cannot open attachments.
