OK. this scambaiting deal appealed to me after an acquaintance ended up in jail after being the victim of a Nigerian bank scam. You guys are cool. Anyway, a real on-the-fly beginner effort after I stumbled across the Romanian ebay scam. Please forgive that I missed some opportunities, all suggestions appreciated. The scammer stopped cold and all his ebay ads have been pulled, I'm hoping I'll hear more soon.
Obviously I have made the spelling deliberately bad (had some fun with that), hope it is readable. "RADU" is the Romanian scammer, and I am Colos (for those not schooled in Greek, Colos Megalos means big arse).
The item was a very low bidded set of Roland V-drums (electronic drums). The scammer hijacked an ebay seller's id but had his own email address in the body of the auction, to which I was compelled to send the message below.

All you have to do is to go at your postal office or at your bank and there you will find a western union money transfer and you will be able sent the money from there to my name and address:

After you make the payment send me your full name and address and the mtcn ( money transfer control number ) number got from western union money transfer so i can send the package. When can you make the payment? Today ? If you cannot go you can send somebody else.

thanks u for all the informations. my only friens is jimmy mounakis he works in the adults shop in town. sometimes he gives me magassines to read as i cant leve houjse he also sells pessonal massages which are useful but i wont go into detales
is it ok to give this details of your mony transfers to jimmy mounakis?? the v drums look good i am very lookinf forward to use them as i can't leve hous wihtout nappies now due to medcal prolems descrbed

As I said, short but sweet. I will update any new posts. Discarded pizza boxes are an invaluable source of cheese, and ebay scams are an invaluable source of scammers to bait. Any suggestions on where to go from here gratefully received |

ok exelent. i just hop u can garantee me teh v drums as drummin is the onely thing gives me joy. most of time I am stuck in house. jimmy's magassins help but prefer to bild my wrists musicly if u know wot i mean. he is a good frend an i truss him so i can giv him the mony to send. i hav never uset westen union but will giv detailes to jimmy and will aks him to get mtcn number. i have saved 1200 dollars amost and can ask my mother for the wrest as it is penshin day soon. can u garantee i have 1st opshon on the drums as i am very exited about this can u tell ? exelent.
as for yer other qestion i am speaking to jimmy later tonite wen he finishes work. sometimes he has to stay back to cleen up an polish the deldoes etc but as soon as his availble I am orgnising the deal. one qestion, how do u orgnise delivery of drums as i am hard to find i liv on a farm.
