Post here if you receive a funny excuse after the bank account has been reported to a mod. Bank reporting does work! Very Happy

After I asked why did the account change (and even move to a different side of the USA):

Product lads are my target so I report bank accounts all the time. I have too many stories to post but there is a great sense of satisfaction when a lad tells me to "reverse the transfer as I no longer am using that account". I've noticed that US banks get killed faster than random banks around the world. I reported a Bank of Nigeria account on Wednesday and I am still waiting for it to be killed. I am delaying my lad - decided to go hunting and won't be around until Monday to transfer the funds, HAHA!

It's funny how a lot of lads think that the accounts have been hacked as opposed to...you know... closed due to being used for fraud? Rolling Eyes

Over on SW I am seeing less bank accounts used as I use to.

Now they want prepaid itune, ebay, amazon and etc cards.

Most recently victims have been asked for bitcoin payment.

Shuttered accounts helps most victims realize a scam when the lad ask for other varios payments.

I had a pretty good feeling lads were having trouble using bank accounts, because not only have I been having trouble getting accounts from them(they all want to use iTunes or Amazon cards), but the majority of the spam mail that shows up in my catcher account is attempting to receive bank information.

Always remember this: "Lads are lazy."

It's easier to redeem an iTunes, eBay, or Amazon card than it is to cultivate a mule. It's why pork reporting can be so important.

Perhaps it's time for a Pig Hunting Contest or Operation Baconator III.

Excellent Reponses, my best maybe ( maybe most can do better and faster) was a bunch of indecipherable gibberish emails. It took over a year and a multitude of fake sites and bank accounts closed. He tried several different scripts, but nothing worked. He sent a few emails with more gibberish, and I haven’t heard from the mugu again, I think I broke him. Oops . Very Happy

I think I broke one. I made a real complicated bait involving about a dozen characters. The main fake victim was a mentally disabled teenager. Of course the parents, financial gaurdian, lawyer, banker, patient advocate, psychiatrist, and a few others got involved. Oddly no one knew it was a scam. But for some reason no one could manage to send the money. Eventually the lad said something along the lines of, I know you know its a scam, I am poor and need this money, please stop playing with my emotions. I never laughed so hard in my life.
