Hey guys,

It's been a while since I had a good bait, so here we are. I harvested some e-mails and BCC'd them from my Gomer character, explaining that their format was old, I have a better one, come work for me, etc etc.

Enter, Frank.

I've been in conversation with him since yesterday and he's ready to increase his cash flow. Gomer has told him that he has a fresh hitman-style script that he needs "testing" and, if Frank can create a new email account, Gomer will bomb the script for him. Frank can keep 100% of the profits in return for regular updates to Gomer on how successful it is.

The script is as follows:

However, I'm a nice guy at heart. Really, I am. So here's the deal, McNeil - if you cough up $8000, I'll spare your life. No blood, no guts, nothing. I forget you ever existed.

There are a few ground rules, though:

1). Don't even think about contacting anyone about this. I have eyes on you at all times, like an eagle stalking its prey. I'm the eagle, and you're the mouse. No funny moves, kapeesh?

2). The $8k is non-negotiable. This isn't a game of Monopoly, kapeesh?

3). You have 72 hours to comply, or else your insides will be outside. And clean-up crews aint cheap nowadays. Kapeesh?

You know what you have to do.

Hitman scripts are fun as hell, so I'm hoping that we can make it even more fun by having a bit of control over the whole thing. I can continue to play the role of Gomer from my end.

What do you suggest I send to that email address? Just copy and paste the script and reply below it?

Yep, I'd just paste the script into the reply to make it look like it's what you received. He's waiting patiently!

This guy sounds like fun. I'm in. I'll just send him an email without including his original script, and hope he doesn't really care. At some point, it could be hilarious to introduce a fake lad character who wants to pay for the script/work with him because the script is so awesome. That could really confuse him.

Perhaps your fake lad could be called Bart as it looks like the hitman is a fan of The Simpsons.

This particular email address I use is for lad transit. I never reply from it or given it to any one.

Maybe a lad did a mass mail and Op is using email addresses for ASM.

It looks like our boy Frank has taken it upon himself to also get the format out there! Those two additional comments at the bottom of the script is what I told him in Google Hangouts as my Gomer character! It looks like he’s just copied and pasted the whole thing without removing some of the actual chat Laughing

So yes, I’m your case Toomuchfun it’s definitely the scammer who has emailed you that. I’m going to check my catcher account to see if it is there too.

EDIT: Yep, it’s there! I also tested the water with a reply from another account and received this:

I'm guessing the lad may have been hit by the Lad Transit and is now sending this co-opted script via another email address. I've received it to an account that is only used by the Transit.

This guy seems dedicated to the cause. I’ve stepped away as Gomer citing that I’m traveling on a business trip right now, in order to give him some time to himself and hopefully get a few of us biting.

I’ve received three emails from him in the past hour, the best one being this:

I just received my 4th email in a row from him (bearing in mind I haven’t replied to any of them yet!):
