I've been really successful keeping a character alive by using a version of a "famous" name so that a lad search just finds that person. For example, my current purveyor of evil is "Robert0rrLaw" so a search yields nothing but lawyers and hockey highlights.

Works like a charm so far.

My seriousness has been questioned several times, but they're usually back in the fold after a slap or two. No one has ever confronted me about being a baiter, but a few have just dropped me after a rant of me not following their instructions well enough.

What has happened to me a few times is that they accuse me of being a rival lad who is Fing with them. I have been yelled at by lads using the Hausa language which I had to google translate. I had one lad tell me he was headed over to my house with his boys.
