hi everyone,
I've hooked a scammer , chatting on hangouts and skype, she has sent porn photos of herself requesting money for uni. I've played along saying i will pay fees directly to the uni but she wants western union. I was unable to use western union and said i could do a bank transfer direct to her. she's not got a bank account but a good friend has and she sent me all the bank account details.
what would be the best way to make her day?

Pass the bank details to a moderator (the folks with green usernames).

Have your character delay going to the bank. Maybe he is sick, or the bank was closed, or he got trampled by a stampede of bufalo on the way, or whatever. Give that tree or for days. Then have your character make the transfer. Give t another tree or four days and say your bank said the transfer could not be completed. Do NOT say it is because of fraud, etc. Just say there was a problem and they told you to have the receiver check with their bank. Laddette will most likely have some excuse (because her bank account has been shut down).

Final note - I hope you are baiting safely using accounts not connected to your real name or any real life details.

It sounds like a romance scam, chatting and sending photos etc then asking for money or gifts. Beggars usually don't invest time in a relationship they just straight ask for money. But I have always thought it is a fine line with a lot of grey between the two.
