I've been away for a long time however I remember it was possible to play around with WU and MG forms before sending to the lad.

We could blur them, have them torn through the MTCN, crumpled or even stained by a coffee cup through the important parts.

Is it still around, I can't seem to find it. I'd like to prepare my payment.

Welcome back to Eater Dennis.

Things have changed a little on the WU/MG front while you have been gone. It has been a general rule that the lad does all the work and it was indeed fun to know that a lad had to stand in line and then get "embarrased" by the agent when he was told "No Match Found". It took a baiter about 5 minutes to cook up a receipt and send it to a lad. Was it 419eater member Marvinator that got one lad to go to the Western Union 9 times back in the day? Fun times.

The lads can check the validity of the transfer in seconds from their phone.

We still have a nice bunch of forms that the lads get to fill out.

Maybe another member can post up a link to a form generator because having one blurry form does have its advantages. You need only make it once, you can increase the size of the file to 8 megabytes using up their data plan, they get a nice preview of the money and if you send it on a Friday afternoon or evening, the lad will have a very nice weekend and freeze them at their location if they are on safari.

But, as Connie said, checking the legitimacy takes mere seconds now. In my opinion, it's better (and easier) to have half a dozen excuses why you can't use WU/MG handy.

Edit: writing this with fat fingers on iphone. Please forgive the typos.

Once had a fun time sending a WU receipt scan with obvious water smudges from raindrops and most of the MTCN covered by a fold in tbe paper. My character was sending his first-ever WU payment. He was a bit demented, deaf and had terrible eyesight
Lad asked for rescan, but the old fellow had tossed the receipt.
Lad told him to look in teash bin. Old guy found all kinds of receipts. All of them very messy and stained, none of them the right one.
Lad demands he xalm WU. But I'm daaf, remember?
Lad says go to WU. I Have nice visit with nice WU peolle. and foeget why hI went.
Lad begs me to get hrlp from my son but of course not let son know reason of transaction. I tell him my son refused when I told him it was to get my 5.5 million dollars from the airport.
Lad tells me to start over. I tell him it is ok because i had written down the teceipt information on my notepad i keep next to my computer.
Lad is insanely angry because i had the information all along. And why didn't i simply email it to him so do it now, etc
I tell lad he told me to scan receipt, not send text.
Lad demands I send the text now
I send jumbles of information, all sort of correct but mmwith errors, but the MTCN is not included. Which number is that?
He telms me where the MTCN is on the teceipt
I remind him it isn't a teceipt. I wrote it by hand. Also rhat it is a bit blurry
He has me scan it
Yup it sure is blurry.

He eventually dropped me as a joker., but not until after trying to get me to go back to WI and start over and then thanking me for "westing" his time. I pushed the same payment delay too much. Perhaps a dolla chop wpuld have kept him going.
