 Lads wanting to move from dating app to google or kik?

To my surprise I had a lnumber of Lads on a dating app lining up to "match" and chat with me. Lads that are more than 120 miles from your area are always a good one to bait. Not sure how they hack the app to get to you but essentially all are trying to scam.

I've always been curious why a lad on a dating app is so eager to get you off of the app and over to a social platform like google hangout or kik? Is it that the dating app is an intake for new victims and they get handed of to another lad on a social app to "work them?"

Dating sites will often delete a lads profile if he has been reported as a scammer. If all his correspondence is via the dating app, he will lose all of his victim information the moment the site deletes his profile. For that reason they will usually try to move any potential victims to another chatting application such as Kik or WhatsApp as soon as possible.

Their profiles are often shuttered. Romance lads need time. Moving to another platform allows this. If they stayed on the site, when the profile is closed, they would lose all prospects.
