Are they really all gone? All of them? I still have a glimmer of hope each time I check my catcher accounts that I'll have a death threat, but so far, nope.

I was advised to try Illuminati lads, which I am doing, but it's just not the same. If anybody happens to get a hitlad email, please forward it on to me. They're my favourite kind to play with, and I miss them.

I've only been baiting for a couple of months, and sadly I've never seen a hitlad format pop up in any of my spam folders. They're either extinct or extremely rare nowadays, and I only know of them through posts like this one.

They really sound like they must have been a lot of fun - have you published any of your hitlad work?

Oh, they were lots of fun indeed. I had my most fun with one guy in particular, who was mass baited on here, including 4 simultaneous baits by me.

There's something about baiting hitlads that I particularly love. Maybe it's the fact that their format is so utterly evil. There's immense satisfaction in screwing with someone so heartless.

Anyway, you asked if I'd published any hitlad work. Yes I have. These are all from 2016.

- "Assassin Audio Book" (My proudest work. Currently working on part 2, but not with hitlads, unfortunately.)

I've never heard of that kind of scam, and it sounds like it would be a lot of creativity on the lad's part, so I assume its few and far between.

Not really much in the way of creativity. It's really a lazy scammers way to make money. The lad says that someone close to you wants you dead and has paid him x amount of money to kill you but after watching you for the past few days he has determined that you are a good person and if you pay xxx amount of money he will call off the hit and tell you who it was that hired him. In my experience it is tough to get them to last long, but others have had more success.

Assassin Killer. What a blast. I don't post a lot but my "Goodbye everyone" post was my highlight so far at Eater. His responses. The mass bait. The hilarity. There's something about him constantly saying that there are 10 men watching my house and they will kill my family that was so entertaining. I baited him April 5th to June 1st. He couldn't even spell Assassin. Smile

Mr AssKiller was definitely one of my favourite hitlads to bait. Thinking about it, what happened to him? Did we break him or something?

I'm not sure what his ultimate demise was. After I got the audio book from him, I stopped baiting for a while. Work schedule got crazy and I was barely home for months.

I like to imagine he went completely nuts. Who could blame him, after the combined efforts against him at the hands of the fine baiters on here Laughing

We collectively owned his life for several months.

There was a huge massbait on one when I first started here. The names he used were Frosty and William Billy. I used to love hitlads, but they are uncommon these days. It is a terrible format. A successful scam relies on the victim wanting to believe all the promises. Who wants to believe someone is going to kill them? I really think the only time you see it anymore is from a beginner. Some have speculated that gangs give it to a novice member for practice.

Hitlads are usually both very stupid (at scamming) and very lazy. It was amazing we were able string Mr Assisin D Killer (or Mr AssKiller as I like to call him) along for so long. I was even more amazed that Toasty could get an whole audiobook Shiver Metimber style out of him.
