Account information in initial scam mail

I found this initial scam mail in my spam folder and it makes me wonder if there is anything that can be done with this account information:

Are you alive of dead? We received several emails from one DR COSME AMOSSOU who narrated to us about the auto car accident you had 2 weeks ago. DR COSME made us to understand that you are in hospital for treatment but there is no hope of your recovery. He stated that he is your business associates and your next of kin whom you have chosen and permitted to inherit all your properties. He is contacting this office base on your contract /Inheritance payment fund valid USD$3,500,000.00 (Three million, five hundred thousand dollars only) which is about to be pay to you. He requested that the payment should
now be transfer into his own personal account as he stated below.

Easiest piggy you ever earned, maybe? I dunno.

I have seen the name Cosme Amossou pop up in lad emails in the last couple of days, but the script reads totally differently from the one you posted.

This is usually just a claim so a potential victim can react and provide their banking details, instead.

I have seen a number of these recently, all with variants of the "Are you alive or dead?" format. However, they are clearly not asking you to send money to that account, indeed it's an invented rival for "your" money to create a sense of urgency. So not really something that can be reported.
