I know he's lonely .. I'm lookin for his chums. But, busted this account this morning. Slapped my lad a bit for sending me to a bank account that's mysteriously under investigation for fraudulent activity.
Who woulda thunk.

Ah well, here's to my first and certainly not my last piggy campaign ribbon!

Congratulations on the pork! Here's to many more.

However, in the future, please refrain from telling the lad things like the "bank account (is) mysteriously under investigation for fraudulent activity." Why? Because you might be interfering with an actual investigation and have unwittingly tipped off the criminal. That's the whole idea behind reporting the account, right? So the banks will investigate them for fraudulent activity? I know several members here who have reported accounts that led to unwelcome consequences for the lad.

If you need any help with excuses to give a lad, ask. There are dozens, if not hundreds.

and get him some friends.

I usually tell Lads that the transfer failed because of some sort of 'technical reason'. When I'm questioned I obviously can't explain it as I'm not a Banker and don't understand all of their high fa-looting terms but I will march on down there tomorrow or maybe the next day for a proper explanation.

Such an explanation gets me another account more often than not.

I know I screwed up telling him that. I didn't think that tactic through. I read that same reply on a story on the boards. Where the baiter told the lad That the account was under investigation. I'm sorry. Lesson learned.

Still quite green and I guarontee I'll be making many more before the fat lady sings.

Apologies out of the way and moving on.

My lad is sending me yet another account to transfer the funds. I'll be reporting that one and playing it different this time. I've been reading the recommended forum on handling it and delaying payment and I'll be using that guide for my x 2 piggy.

I usually stay vague with the reason why the transfer failed. It was just not possible. And some lads will give you more piggies after the first one Wink
