Hi all you amazing people!

Thinking back, i can't even remember How i came across this site...i just remember suddenly getting caught up in reading "Road to skeleton coast" by Shiver metimbers...and was Brown away by the genious, twisted hunour the World of scambaiting is. On that note...thank you SO much Mr. SM! Since then i've been Reading a lot of the safaris in the Greatest Hits section...just ended the adventures of Eric & Franklin...amazing stuff Mr. L.

I'm not sure i have the skills to think as fast and abstract as you guys, but i'm being enouraged to give it a shot. And who am i to let you down.

I'm a teacher in litterature..i live in Denmark...and i have 4 kids aged 9-17. So i'm obv in my primes myself 😃

I'm an agnostic...i dont believe in a god or religion superior to others, but i raine my kids to have their own free will, and respect everyone believing what they want. I want then to embrace differences and meet people with politeness and no predjudice. Having Said that, i still want them to take offense to those who does not show compassion, love and empathy for their next man.

Thats pretty much How i see these scammers. I dont see a Nigerian, American, Dane or whatever nationality Behind the keyboard/screen. I see a scammer. And i would love to waste their time, with my - at times - twisted sense of hunour.

I'm so happy tomme part of this site...i am currently reading a lot of guidelines, hints, tips and info about the subject..to get me going softly, very soon i hope.

I'm trying to create the perfect universe of victims, with all sorts of Funny parsonalities and flaws. I'm a huge fan of the 80's movies and music..undoubtfully, their will be some references to that area..

I hope i Can contribute to your entertainment and make you laugh just a fracture of what you have made me do.

Hey there! I'm glad you decided to get in here with us after all - hope you have a blast.

It's pretty normal to feel out of your depth at the start - I'm only a couple of weeks ahead of you and I feel like that most of the time. I'm guessing it only gets easier from here.

I recommend signing up for the mentor program.

It sounds like your approach to baiting characters will fit in very well here: if you've read some of the classic baits they are full of strange and weird characters with all sorts of flaws. And many members also love to weave in references from their favourite songs, tv shows, films, books etc.

This can be a fun way to start interacting with the scammers, although you may find it doesn't go far at first. Scammers are in it for the money, and always on the lookout for "time wasters". It may take a few tries to get past the first few messages, but you may as well have fun with it.

Most important is that you "bait safe": set up a dedicated baiting email address that doesn't link to any of your personal details.

Hi BudWheiser. Incorporating things from 80's movies into your baits sounds fun.

Please don't feel worried that you don't "have the skills" to bait. You've been reading some of the all time greatest hits. So, sure, reading a bait like Eric & Franklyn by Mr Lebowski (one of my personal favorites) can seem like a lofty goal for a new baiter, but all of us were new baiters once too. And those baits are great inspiration and entertainment.

Sounds like you've looked around the site, so you know there are lots of lad letters in surplus to choose from, and friendly members here to help out too.

Baiting is an art, not a science, and we find what we excel at. Safaristas, chopper-meisters, artwork aficionados (In my case, it seems to be angry or irascible phone calls...) - and there's the straight baiting that frustrates Lads, robs them of bank accounts, and makes them so paranoid that they might well reject real victims.

Welcome to eater Bud! Kiss your free time goodbye. Many new people come here and read some of the classics with thousand mile safaris and think that "I can never do that.". Maybe so, as finding a lad willing to go to safari links is kind of like finding a four leaf clover. They are rare and difficult to find. You can hurt the lads in different ways though. Getting a bank account from them is, while not always easy, will create a world of lad hurt. It goes something like this:

- For a variety of reasons you cannot use Western Union or Moneygram. Perhaps your characters spouse works there or has friends there, and you don't want he/she to know about your winnings (you plan to file for divorce as soon as you get the money, for example). Maybe there is not a Western Union or Moneygram close to you. Or maybe your character got into a fight with a clerk and you are not allowed into the Western Union/Moneygram place anymore. Be creative.
- You can however do a bank transfer and a bank transfer only
- When you get the bank account you report it to a mod (the folks in green)
- You make a post bragging about your first piggy (bank account). You then put a piggy icon on your signature.
- You are given a number of sincere "attaboys!" by other posters and gently reminded that piggys are sociable animals and told to go get some more.
- Either the lad will come back and tell you that there is a problem with the bank account and you should not use it or after a week or so you tell the lad that there was a problem with the transfer. I like to use "The bank says the account has been "red flagged" and while I do not know exactly what that means the bank says they cannot make the transfer.". The lad will hopefully come back with another bank account
- When you lay your head on your pillow to go to sleep that night you do so with a smile on your face, secure in the knowledge that in the very least you have cut off an avenue of lad payment, and perhaps you have saved a potential innocent mule from unknowingly getting involved with a scam.

It took me 20 lads just to get my first bank account, but you'll get better and better while causing pain to these scammer scum as you imporve Wink
