Straight-baiting (i.e., getting pink and black pork), in my humble opinion (as a so-so and relatively new baiter), is just as easy as before. Doing fancy things with scammers, such as safaris and getting artwork or fancy photos, is getting harder because the "horror stories" are getting around in scammer land.

Another thing I have noticed is that lads are looking themselves up online more and more, so I avoid posting their stuff on this forum too much in advance because it has happened that someone found themselves on ScamWarners before and thought it was me who put them there (and it actually wasn't... but I got their contact info from there) Twisted Evil

I also think one scammer I was baiting may have found himself on here before, but I am not certain (the bait ended suddenly with insults, so either that or his bank account was closed down and he blamed me for it).

So you need to be careful how you bait. Many scammers are learning not to waste time with you if you don't pay up after a while. But many will still shoot you emails here and there because it doesn't hurt (or does it?), and there is still a possibility for them of getting $ in the end. It has happened that I have revived a bait many months later with an ancient loan lad just by shooting an email again from the same baiter account (you think he would have learned)!

I'm currently baiting 3 vlads, and practically everyday, I receive new vlad-spam in my spam folder now. 2 of 3 vlads have given me a bank account without too much begging on my part. I am still in the very painful vlad-bot stage with the third vlad, so no talk of bank accounts or WU yet.

Point of the matter is that there are no shortages of lads out there, and occasionally, you will fall on the jackpot loony who will happily fill out all the forms and shit you send him/her. You just need to start low and go slow.

HAHAHA!!! So true! This is why I especially hate vlads with a passion... all lazy bummers. They sometimes don't reply for 3-4 days on end (and we are in a romantic relationship!) and then say "sorry, I had a holiday." Often, they don't read your email, so you have to include a link to a dumb Youtube video or write a little phrase in Russian to get a small non-scripted response from them and make sure they pay closer attention.

Nice to see you back LadWarrior. You make a great point in your earlier post about lads googling themselves and their victims. I've seen far more baits "burned" this way than ever before. Although it's more work this means it can be a very good idea to replace lad and character names (and other key terms) with nicknames when publishing or discussing baits in progress.

especially since it is easier to read than some leeted names.

to the reader, it's not really important if there is the dreamed up name of the lad in the text, or a for security reasons used dreamed up name by the baiter (heck, it could be even the name of another lad).
