How frequently do lads reply to your initial email by saying some variant of "you are a joker"?

It just happened to me. Note this was the first reply to the lad's initial scripted e-mail. I double checked to see if I had possibly left my catcher e-mail in there somewhere or had otherwise made a mistake, but I hadn't.

I guess this means we are doing our jobs, but I hadn't ever seen a lad discount a potential maga in this manner without even getting past the early stages of communication. Is it something you see frequently?

I feigned ignorance, of course, and told the lad that I wasn't going to help him if he calls me names, so we will see where it goes.

That's odd, never had that happen to me. I wonder if he was abused by someone with an email address or character name similar to yours?

I don't do a lot of email Baiting anymore but have run into quite a few Lads lately on Facebook who are extremely paranoid. I've even been called out as a Nigerian scammer on occasion.

If they are paranoid then it means they might think twice if a real victim asks a question or two and that gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Depending on the initial email from the lad, determines the reply.

The second email is still sparse, but slightly more accepting.

3 or 4 emails in, then it starts to wander around

I go in gently, "was this for me?"

Half the time I get the second script, the other half I get a "yes" or something similar. Those are often VERY easy to get off script immediately.

I do that sometimes, too. All depends. Different characters have different quirks. This particular character ends almost every sentence with an exclamation point.

I generally start off baits by responding to their opening formats with Roger being confused:

"I am confused about your email. Are you sure you sent this to the rite person? I can tell your email is very impotent so I want to make sure your not making a mistake."

That lets the lad know right away that Roger is a moron.

I'll often ask silly questions. Nothing to make them think I am anything other than a great maga, but enough where they are forced to answer.
