First, and foreplay, please tell me the amount of the check I receiving. I have none desire to send $195.00 if the check is for a ignormous amount. I looked through the emails and could not find how much it is. Can you also tell me why am receiving this check. Is not that I'm not grateful, which I'm not, it's just that I'm curiously.

I see no reason for you to be rude! I just asked a simple question that anyone might ask. Your attitude concerns me, I am not used to a company wanting something from me treating me so crudely. I thought the $195.00 was a security fee, and now you tell me it is a delivery fee, so which is it? I am more than willing to pay the money, as a matter of fact I would pay much more for the amount we are talking about, but I also want my questions answered politely.

I will like you to know also that the fee you required to pay is for airport maintenance security fee and it is also known as delivery fee as far as the delivery is concern because without the fee the delivery will not commence. So please don’t misunderstand me when I call it security fee or delivery fee, it is all the same.

Hope you are clear now? We want to know when to process your delivery tracking details; therefore we will like to know when you will send the fee so that we will get your tracking details ready to give you once after confirming your payment.

Is DHL not able to do a bank to bank electric transaction? I just recently sent a charitable donation of $6500.00 to a Benin Republic orphanage called "Help me, Help them" have you heard of it? This fund you will be sending me will surely help me, help them much more! Hopefully we can do the electric transaction, as my bankerer is ready to send the fees now.

It's your bait, but this is in Main and susceptible to the Google Bots. What does that mean? Things will be picked up and gathered for the search engines. Do you need to be paranoid? No. Just post with this in mind. If you are using a unique name, of a character or place, consider changing it.

Sure, Pissinurpants, Massachusetts might be funny, but is it essential? If so, perhaps mention it in your initial post and it.

Hi Iam Aries, it looks like you are having fun with writing your replies - and that you are successful in obtaining what you want ... an apology, a bank account.

It was a good idea, too, to mention your charitable donation - it shows that your character has spare cash that he is willing to part with!

You could slow down before making the transfer, by asking 'just one question before I pay...' and 'just one more question...'

Maybe the question could be about why you are now paying to a different cashier. Or maybe it could be about delivery of the cheque. Would it be possible to specify a day for delivery? You are often away from home. Could it be delivered to your cousin instead? Or about the payment: would it be better to use the IBAN or the SWIFT? Or do you need to use both? You've never been given both of those before.

This particular lad seems to be in a hurry, though. He doesn't seem very keen on 'setting the scene' or 'gaining trust'. He just wants instant money at the least effort. So he may not be very happy to answer questions! You may be able to motivate him, however, by always dangling the money in front of his nose: 'I've got the money ready to pay, but....' or 'I can send the payment first thing tomorrow, though first please tell me....'

Nice start! Your character clearly has a personality that comes through consistently across your messages, and it also seems like your character is keenly interested in the big payout. Both can be very useful in convincing the scammer they have a likely paying victim on the hook.

If the courier site goes down after being reported, this can be very useful in your bait, for example you can go into a panic about not being able to access the site. I expect the scammer will have some excuses for you, but in some cases they will give you a different fake site which can also be reported.

Thinking about applying for a mentor? Go ahead, take the plunge!! A mentor can be very helpful in all sorts of areas: guidance on getting through difficult parts of baits, offering suggestions or feedback on your ideas, helping to predict what a scammer might do next, etc.

I did not think I demanded anything from you, but just requested. We seem to be losing something in the translation in our conversations. I will be able to transfer the money Friday, as that is my day off. Why did the account name change? Exactly who is this fee for? DHL, or the airport. Also, at the tracking site I noticed that there is something called a consignment box to be delivered. What is that, and what does it mean? Please get back to me about this.

Ok, I was about to make up some excuse why I wasn't sending the money, when the lad did it for me. I went to the tracking site I reported, to see if it was still up, and it was, but there was a different name, and address than mine. I reported the info to the moderators in case it was an actual victim, and wrote this:

I'm very confusioned, and worried about this situation. I was heading to my bank to make the money transfer, and send another $3000.00 donation to "Help me, Help them" and I thought I would check my tracking information, and I find that the name, and address have been changed!! I am not about to pay $195.00 for another person to receive their package, or mine!! Mr. Buth0lt, my contact at the charity orphanage seems to think there is something funny going on, and says I should just forget it, but I told him that you have been very sincere this whole time. I'm not sure what DHL is up to, but please help me understand what is going on with the tracking site, and who is the person listed under my tracking numbers?

We have checked and we discovered that your tracking details were hacked by internet hackers so that your packages will be delivered to them instead of you.

This is one of the reason why we don’t want any delay of processed anyone’s delivery. You are very wise and lucky by noticing this error otherwise your package could have been delivered to wrong person.

Now we have restored your delivered details and it has been fixed in other and some security alert has been added in your tracking details so that it will not be hacked again ok.

Now you can see that delaying is dangerous, so when are you going to send the fee again?

Are you joking with me!!?? How does an international company like DHL allow internet hackers take over their site? How do I know that you even work for DHL? I haven't seen any company identification, just these emails. I am very concerned about this. I really don't have to have the check, or consignment box, as I inherited my father's fortune, and all his properties in Europe, but I thought it would be nice to give it to charity, and get a tax write off. I am going to have to think about this now, and maybe talk to my pastor, he is very astute, and I tend to be more impulsive in these type of situations. I hope you are who you say you are Mr. Godfin. Perhaps tomorrow I will have calmed down.
