Still getting emails with attachments sent to me, various world wide locations, the small fish in the pond, tracking using our Iptrackeronline.

Now I'm being accused. "You are being accused with bodily injury (Case: 59096507)". If I had my way I know who would be receiving bodily injury. Laughing

Does bodily injury deserve corporal punishment? If so, should it be major or done in private?

I got one of those at work today, it's kind of a new one but really, nothing new at all. just a frightener to make you open an attachment.

Ask him to reenact the accusations of injury on his own body, and send photos to you, so you can compare and see if the accusations are indeed true.

You also? I've received nine such virus packages in the past week, all from different addresses if header analysis holds true, and four from spoofed versions of my Captain Mal account.
Three were from India (Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh), and one each from Argentina, Indonesia, Kuwait, Mexico, Turkey, and Zimbabwe.

I've received virus packages before, but never so many in so short a time.

I'm in the cool kids club as well - my r/l work email addresses which are publically visible have been deluged with dodgy attachment messages of the above type. None today yet..... I am wondering if my organisation's email filter has been tuned to recognise and block/filter them.

My bodily injury accusation has a different case number but I feel the same way.

I use both greylisting and several blocklists on my mailservers. I've seen no such messages in my inbox, but plenty of messages blocked.

I, too, have recently received a deluge of similar emails recently, including the bodily injury one. They are being sent to an old email account, then forwarded to my current RL account, by my original service provider.

There has also been a spate of emails containing a virus, which my current provider has already detected and isolated.

All very annoying. Rolling Eyes

A funny thing is happening to me too - the spam box in my RL email, which I never give out online btw, has been flooded over the past
2-3 weeks. Normally it gets only a couple of spam emails a week.

Between Monday morning and Tuesday evening = 22 spam messages. And about half of them contained attachments.

WTF? Confused

A few weeks ago, I got an email with the message in the attachment. Is that what happened to you? I was using yahoo, so I saw the preview and posted it in surplus.
