I decided to have a bit of fun with one of the baits that came in under the above title and I've had this lad going for a while now. It started on Jan 26th from the original bait from a frail dying Mrs Helena Mihai who has chosen me to do Gods work and build a Christian something or other for disadvantaged somethings.

The first lad passed me onto the good Rev Dr Robert Dawne, who I managed to yoyo between being totally superior to me to being a complete idiot. Managed to get him angry twice, gave him an ultimatum that I was pulling out if he didn't buck his ideas up and he has now passed me on to the Bridge Bank Group in Cote D'Ivoire who wanted my passport photo, which I duly obtained on the scambaiting toolbox site and sent.

He asked me not to reveal his name to the bank, but I told them his name, email address, number, called him an idiot, etc. etc. His emails became strained and I could sense the frustration, but he doesn't know what I sent to the bank right? so he can't give me any grief over what I said.

Question is, where do I go from here? It kind of feels like it's fading out, but I'm sure there's more than a few ideas as to what to do now.

Sometimes when straight baiting I treat a lad like a fish in that I give him some slack then reel him in. Every other email is like good cop bad cop, agree slap agree slap.

Play it by ear go along with the lad for a bit and then play dumb/slap.

Yeah I haven't exactly been active, but this is my first bait, work has been getting in the way of my social life. To make it worse I was around a LONG time ago under another name, that I forgot and let lapse.

Thanks for the advice, I will keep it going as long as I can subject to time and the extent of his greed.

I kept the Lad going for a while and managed to get him going, but I just ran out of time sadly, so the bait sort of died out.

I managed to get him to fill out the Western Union form and send a copy of an ID Card which related to not one single person I had been talking to.

Would like to share the documents I got, but not sure how to put them up here, so any advice from anyone gratefully received.

You can use a site like Tinypic. Upload a picture there and it gives you the [IMG] code for posting on forums. It also lets you resize your picture.

Although this is the OP's thread it's kind of a necro. I'm going to suggest you start a new thread about your complete thread.

Also, DO Not send ID of any kind to a scammer. They will reuse it on other victims.

Locking
