Hello everyone,

About a year and a half ago, I got a lad to safari from Lagos to Lokoja, then Lagos to Abuja (with TM and Dr Mike's brilliant help), then Lagos to Accra, Ghana. Unfortunately at the time life had to take precedent and I stopped answering Moses once he arrived in Ghana by bus from Lagos. The original thread can be found here:

This was about a year and a half ago. I decided to send him a few feeler emails over the past couple of weeks, and what do you know? He responded! Here are a few emails from when he arrived and was stuck in Accra, Ghana:

This was the week of Christmas 2014 and I went completely silent for over a year. He sent the following flurry of emails over the course of Christmas and New Years:

It appears Moses has a premonition about living in another country, because over a year later he still has not made it back to Nigeria and currently lives (??) in Benin Republic. I sent him a feeler email a few weeks ago just asking how he was and that my email was hacked and my password changed, and of course if he was up to finally collecting the batch of RNs. He sent me the following almost two weeks after I emailed him:

I chose to name this part Leviticus, because Leviticus is arguably the harshest part of the Bible and I have a few diabolical things planned for Moses. I think he will be amenable to safaring again, don't you guys think?

I want to confirm he actually is living in Benin. His IP does resolve to southern Benin near Porto Novo, but it makes me suspicious because that it fairly close to Lagos so I don't know how he hasn't managed to return home all this time. Perhaps it is because he owes too much money and doesn't want to return? In a bunch of his emails he kept saying that these trips have cost him thousands of dollars, he sold his laptop and phone, etc.

TM that is a most generous offer! Towards the end he kept insisting that no third parties be involved, but I am going to insist Very Happy

It feels good to be back! Hopefully we can get Moses to explore another country!

There must be some misunderstanding. There's a Republic of Benin and there's also Benin City. The latter is the capital of Edo State in southern Nigeria.

^^That is my favorite part, and it is really satisfying to read after all this time. In his journeys to Lokoja and Abuja, Moses never got riled up, even when Randy chopped him, and Mr. Affet threatened to send mercenaries after him to kill him. He always maintained his composure.

It was really enjoyable to finally see him lose it a little, and even curse. I know lads always lie, so I want to get phone confirmation that he actually is in Benin. I was pretty surprised when he claimed he lives there now "thanks to my dealings" lol

Definitely looking forward to an update with "ittybitty Franklin," Mr. Labowski!

So, he's deviating from what he said before about being stuck in Benin, and now he claims to still be in Ghana (further away from Lagos, and over a year later). I'll have to get down to the truth and have Moses stop with woe is me attitude.

I enjoy how much more animated Moses has become in the past year. I believe he is stredded somewhere, but I am annoyed that he is obviously lying about the location. He is now using a hotmail address instead of his yahoo address, so I am unable to get an IP resolution.

^^He is indeed! One of the most disappointing things (even though I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the way) was that Moses never lost his cool on his first two safaris. This was after Dr Mike said he was going to have him killed, Randy chopping him, etc. He was always so calm and collected that it deeply frustrated me.

He's making up for it now though, as he seems like he genuinely snapped after his Ghana trip. He would pretty much always write in a semi-intelligent, business like manner. Now he is reduced to rambling emails, with little structure of punctuation.

I want him to explain why he claimed Benin before, and now Ghana, before I try and get him to move. If he was truly done with me I think he would never respond, so I think there's a chance he will safari again.
