Yesterday I received a one line email saying the contact was being made on behalf of the emails employer and that a legal representative was needed in "blank" (yeah, the area was blank on the email). I responded with interest, and today I received this email ...

I thank you for your prompt reply to my mail, It really shows that you are serious minded. I will go straight to the point.
We are an export company in China dealing with the export of all kinds of construction equipments, plants, spare parts of heavy duty construction and all of other related construction equipments such as:

Can anybody tell me where this is going ? I've been scambaiting for over a year now, but this is a new one on me.

BTW - The sender of the original email was student.uc.pt, with reply to @zoho.com. The reply email was from the initial reply to address.

You will be accepting the proceeds from stolen credit cards and innocently passing them on (minus your "commission") to the scammer.

Yes, because sending payment to a third party, who will then send it on to the "company" is always sooooo much quicker than just paying them direct lol. Very Happy
