This kind of blew up huge today with Quest. From the opening gambit emails:

Meanwhile, Mr.Q's shipper sent over the shippers bank account details in a PDF. Because of that our book keeper had to type it in by hand and didn't get it right. That was a whole day lost in getting them paid...a day in which some of Mr.Q's original payments got reversed off my book. I couldn't find the words to express how sorry I was about our little bureaucratic snafu and the trouble is has caused him.... Wink

^^^ I'm trading emails with the shipper too. He sent me an invoice, but the attachment was "missing". He hasn't replied since. It will be interesting to see if your invoice is not attached also....

Working on issues with Silver Line's payment this morning so I can bounce a couple of Mr.Q's payments.

Mr.W is obviously not real coordinated. He's claiming that he got my first payment, which works quite nicely into my dragging him along some more:

I never received a reply from Mr W only Mr Quest, I am going to check my baiting inbox now and see if he has got back to me with the shipping fee.

Eta- Mr W has replied at last and I now have a shipping invoice from Mr Quest (sent as a fancy PDF).

Mr Quest's shipper comes with its own fake shipping site, I'll post in fake sites and take of it and then post a link back here.

Mr.W is a gift that keeps giving. I'm still waiting to see how long he'll go before he realizes that his shipper has not been paid a cent. In the meantime I've assured him that we can get all of orders together for a single shipment so he can just keep ordering away:

Mr Quest's shipping quote has been sent by the lad shipper and sent back to Mr Quest, I'll post them here soon; now just waiting on credit cards. Am I right to assume that the shipper and Mr Quest are one in the same lad?

^^^ My experience is that it's about 50/50 on whether it's the same lad or part of a gang/team. You can usual tell by the way they respond, bcc their communications, etc. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter...

Mr.W, who still hasn't asked about why he hasn't collected any payments (making me think he's not a lone scammer) has referred another customer to me. That's what good service gets you... Wink
