Got a reply .....here is the Account slip of UBA Bank account where to send the money

Can i send the picture of it to a MOD so they can report the piggie ?

Its got a few sigs on it and the sort code its the UBA bank .

No. But you can transcribe the account info and send it along with the pic.

Yeah, it sucks to transcribe the info from the JPG file but must be done.

Nice going! I love coming back to stale, forgotten scammers. A very good reason not to burn them at the end of a bait..... even the deadest of baits might be revived in the future.

You can always ask the scammer to do this for you!
"Sorry I can't open the file, can you send me the info again?"

often they will send the same image again at which point you could ask
"Can you just type the info into the email, I can't open it?"

This is my usual approach (avoiding opening attached files as well).

I tell them similar.... usually that my bad eyesight can't see it clearly and that my screen magnifier does't work on any attachments....

It avoids opening lad sent files and also adds a few more emails and some more wasted lad time.... you could always get him to type his emails in huge colored font too... Wink

Speaking of easy piggy: I just got a piggy on an opening message!

Bank in question does exists and the included phone number belongs to them but this seems too easy!

^^^Were they telling you to send money to that account? Or was it an account that was supposed to hold funds?

I suggest telling him that you tried to send money to that account but there was some sort of a problem and the transfer wouldn't go through. Ask him if he has a different bank account you could try instead.

Then rinse, lather and repeat.
