It is a good idea not to tell the lad that the account is under investigation or has been suspended for fraud. The bank may have decided not to suspend the account and just monitor or investigate it and the scammer may be able to empty the account before the bank does anything. Also, many countries have an offence of tipping off in their money laundering regulations.

It is better to wait a few days and just tell the lad that the money was returned to your account and all your bank will tell you is that you will have to speak to the accountholder.

Thanks for the input b8er i will consider that in the future. Still it was funny to let the WU clerk chop his money, at least i hope he will not dare to send swiss people to WU anymore.

now i am at a point at this bait where i need some help from the more experienced baiters. Long story short after the lad give me his ninth bank account (and i report it of course Cool

) i finally talked him into give me the WU details. He refused a long time already because he is scared from the WU clerk because he stole his money before. So today my Belmont character went to WU and make the transfer. I sent him an unreadable receipt and fake numbers and told him i called WU and they say the money already got picked up in Cote d' Ivoire. (and thanked him for his quick reaction for pick up the money) So far no answer from him to Belmont, but here is the conversation with my WU clerk:
