Thank you for sharing it certainly makes me want to bait more frequently and hurt these scum.
Lots of quotes that you can pick up from in this article but the one below ensures that she is literally a VFL. Even if she went back to $19 an hour and put aside 10% it would take her 105 years to pay back the restitution.

I know Philo Kvetch meant this for the News and Current Affairs Thread, but let's leave it right here. It's an interesting, sad read on how entangled money mules can get, but is also a lesson in the importance of reporting mules and bank accounts. |

I knew the name sounded familiar. One of my lads from early 2013 gave me her name as a mule, and in fact, one of my piggies is her account at First Community Bank in Bluefield VA that was mentioned in the article.
It's unfortunate that I get to put a face to the name in this way.  |

Sad case indeed. This woman was on the hook for several years, and had arrests going back to 2011 apparently related to this scam.

Several of her accounts were reported by baiters such as BigX at eater in 2013/2014.
At the end of the line she got 52 months and a DOJ Press Release dedicated to her

I've used her plight a couple of times to convince mules who wouldn't listen that if they carried on "helping their friend", they could share the same fate. |

^^^ That's a good idea. What a heart-breaking story. I don't usually do romance baits, but I report anything I do happen across. Stories like this make me wish I had more time for baiting. |
