UPDATE: One thing I haven't mentioned before is that whilst stranded in Abuja, James suggested that since things weren't working out (they certainly did for us) I could travel to meet him in Cote d'Ivoire. Well, he returned home to Ghana last week and I just briefly spoke with him. He is one cool, indifferent Lad. I expected him to hang up when I reminded him of our possible Cote d'Ivoire meet. Instead, he agreed. We have set preliminary dates of 8-9 Oct.
Geoffrey and Mr Babangoh won't hold their breath, but you never know...  |

my guess: it was revoked, and either they went back home by bus (it isn't that far) or they managed to get another ticket. both situations are quite unpleasing, difficult and moneycosting...
and now they are in for a second round  |

Somebody canceled their ticket, their client booked them a "bush hotel" but they aren't suspicious at all yet they wanna hang out at another bush hotel in another country. I wonder how amazingly dumb these gentlemen might be also how much time one needs to spend baiting to finds such gems! |
